My name is Reavis Daniel Moore and I'm a music entrepreneur and advisor (aka SERVE).
I've been on the music path for over 40 years, working in Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, London, Amsterdam and Tel Aviv.
This is my music story.
Music & Meaning
From managing unknown artists, to advising artists who have helped shape the sound of a generation, my mission goes beyond business. I'm here to serve music and the artists who make it, and to amplify their impact on the world.
I'm a music career strategist, opportunity finder, partnership builder, and dealmaker. But first and foremost, I'm a champion for the artists I believe in. I’ve held leadership roles across music labels, publishing, management, events, technology and non-profits. I’ve worked inside major label systems and alongside independent visionaries, always advocating for authenticity and meaning.
Through it all, I’ve remained a creative partner and ally to my artist partners, and stayed true to the idea that music drives personal and cultural transformation. What began as a love for great pop songs (Thanks, Beatles!), turned into a lifelong commitment to empowering creators. Whether as an advisor or a partner, I’m here to help artists be heard and thrive.
Peak Partnerships
SouthCoast/Free Flow
1980-1986 – Partner & EVP A&R
Over 10 million in artist album sales, including Christopher Cross, Carole King, and Firefall, with Cross winning five Grammy Awards for his debut album. South Coast had a label partnership with MCA Records, and a publishing JV with CBS Songs; while Free Flow had production agreements with Warner, Capitol and Atlantic Records, and operated a state of the art Tom Hidley-designed recording studio. The company was an early mover in the now legendary Austin, Texas music scene, working with leading outlaw country rock artists Jerry Jeff Walker, The Lost Gonzo Band, Guy Clark, and Joe Ely. SouthCoast and Free Flow were founded by my partner and mentor, the late producer Michael Brovsky.
PeaceDream
1986-1994 – Co-founder & Producer
PeaceDream produced Rainbow Warrior the first truly global world music festival in the US, held annually in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with performers from around the world. The festivals were hosted by Native American artists and dancers, with actor LeVar Burton serving as MC. Performers included: Hugh Masekela (South Africa), Samite (Uganda), King Sunny Ade (Nigeria), Kitaro (Japan), Namgyal Monks (Tibet), Consuelo Luz (Cuba), Oscar Castro-Neves (Brazil), Al Stewart (UK), Oregon (USA), R. Carlos Nakai (Native America), and many more. Additional events were held at Joshua Tree National Park, California and at the United Nations HQ in New York City. My co-founders were philanthropist Jeffrey Bronfman and music artist Eliza Gilkyson.
Earthdance
1997-2024 – Co-founder & Executive Producer
Close to 1 million attendees globally, over 28 years, with events held at hundreds of locations in 70+ countries, featuring performances by 1,000s of artists and DJs. In 1999, Earthdance produced one of the first global webcasts, with 1.2 million simultaneous viewers of live video streams from 12 countries, sponsored by Apple and Microsoft. In 2004, the festival was awarded a Guinness World Record for the largest drum ensemble with 4,504 drummers, each playing a Remo drum, led by Planet Drum: Mickey Hart (Grateful Dead), Zakir Hussain & Airto Moreira. Earthdance events actively support local peace, human rights and environmental organizations. All Earthdance events join in a synchronized global link-up and Prayer for Peace. My partners were Virgin-EMI label executive Matthew Marshall, and music artist Chris Deckker (Medicine Drum)
